At the William Ellis Trust we are working with the school to develop an alumni network that has an active engagement with the school of today.
We are lucky to have alumni from several generations who are still in touch with the school and are providing invaluable knowledge and experience for the students of today.
If you would like to be part of this exciting next step in the William Ellis story, please fill out the short form you can find here and we will be in touch. We would also be grateful if you could share this page and the sign-up form for the network with any friends from your school days so we can reach as many alumni as possible.
If you would like to discuss any other ideas for the alumni network or would like to help organise any get-togethers or events, please do Contact Us to discuss.
Do you have any photos of your school days you would like to share for inclusion in the alumni section of the website? Let us know!
Help us grow the impact of the alumni network
Expanding the network will help to open even more opportunities for current and future William Ellis pupils and students by:
Building connections between alumni of the school - reconnecting old friendships, sharing memories across generations and building a lasting relationship with the school of today
Opening up opportunities for current and future William Ellis students through work experience opportunities, careers guidance and the sharing of life experiences that aid their development
Raising the profile of the work the school is doing around the areas of boyhood, community and entrepreneurship and offering alumni the opportunity to support this work.
Volunteering with the school and Trust
If you have an interest in providing work experience opportunities for current students, or if you can come into school to share your own experience either as a masterclass or as part of a career’s day, the school and the Trust will be able to support you through this process. Please do reach out to our director Will Durham, wdurham@williamellis.camden.sch.uk copying in the William Ellis Head of Careers Horace Parry hparry@williamellis.camden.sch.uk.
We will be hosting a “learn more” call about providing work experience opportunities later in the year and will reach out to all alumni who may wish to support this. We will also be exploring the possibility of setting up other opportunities such as a mentoring programme between alumni and students designed to support our young people through key points in their education and choices as they move on from William Ellis.
Finally, if you have any other ideas about how you could support the school and today’s pupils or any other initiatives that you think the Trust should consider supporting, please do contact us via Will Durham.
