The William Ellis Trust provides funding to the school in a number of different ways which you can read about in a little more depth on the overview of our work page.

We also have a monthly giving initiative known as the Rather Use Than Fame Club which you can choose to join if you would like to make a smaller, recurring monthly donation to support our work.

Thank you for considering donating to fund our important work on behalf of the school. GiftAid is applicable to donations made to us meaning we can claim an extra 25% on your donation at no extra cost to you.

John Simmons recently made a generous donation to the Trust in gratitude for the passions his time at the school gave him. John stated “I realised that my life, with reading and writing at its centre, would have been much less rewarding without the transformative influence of my English teachers from William Ellis. So I’m very happy to donate from a deep sense of gratitude and a belief that the current generation should also be encouraged to love books.”
